The result of sin is death. Why is there so much death? Why are there the biggest churches in the world but so much death, so much sin, so much abortion? It’s because there’s hidden sin. When that sin is not confessed, when that sin is hidden, it becomes like a giant garbage site. You can try to hide that garbage with big buildings and nice clothes and passionate prayer. But if your heart and mouth cry out to God and your life is hidden in sin, then God does not hear your prayer because sin separates you from God. And the result of compiled garbage is decomposition. Suicide, abortion, sexual trafficking. Lying, and deception, and economics. Judgment does not begin with sinners, it begins with the house of God.

We shouldn’t hide the sins that we’ve committed for decades anymore. The sin of taking precious lives of God’s creation, his children, too lightly. Taking life, too lightly.
우리 한국 교회와 성도들은 더이상 불쌍한 생명들을 가차없이 누르고, 짓밟고, 죽이는 한국 사회에 대해 쉬쉬하지 말아야 한다. 그것에 이제는 맞서 싸워야할 시간이다. 얼마나 더 숨죽이고 있을것인가? 얼마나 더 많은 생명들이 희생되어야 이 사회를 바꿔야 한다는 자각이 들까? 그들이 죽어도 우리 한국 사회가 괜찮다고 해서, 그들이 없어도 세상은 잘 돌아간다고 해서 자칭 ‘하나님의 자녀들’이라 하는 많은 사람들이 하나님이 만드신 생명, 영혼의 가치를 얼마나 쉽고 가볍게 보는가? 자살과 유산으로 죽어간 수많은 영혼들은 그저 사망 통계숫자가 아니라 사람이고, 우리의 미래이고, 우리의 형재,자매들이다.
This country needs Change and Revival by the Holy Spirit. Why do we always fall short of loving each other when we don’t even have the division that might result from having different ethnicities in this country? South Korea has only one ethnic group and that is Korean. As simple as that—just one group. Why can’t we be united to fight this injustice that is going on in our society when we can clap and cheer in unison for a soccer game? It doesn’t matter if South Korea has the biggest church in the world, or we send out the largest number of missionaries today. We love to gossip, point fingers, bring each other down to uplift ourselves, and it is shameful that this is normal even in our churches that is supposed to be the representative of God’s love towards his people.
I’m convicted of this too. The prayer and plea for God’s intervention for my country and its people needs to start with me.. (via hahaheeheejong)
